Shweta Srinivasan is a Research Scientist at CSTEP. She holds a master's degree in Science, Society and Development from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex and a bachelor's in Journalism and Mass Communication from GGSIPU. At CSTEP, she works on low-carbon energy policy and co-benefits approach for mainstreaming climate mitigation interventions in state and national policies. She works on energy systems modelling and has recently completed a research study on the cost-benefit evaluation of environmental regulation in India's power sector. Currently, she is working on a project to evaluate the long-term impact of various technologies and policies on India's energy and emission pathways.
