The second edition of the eARTh Event was conducted on 20 September 2024 at the Bangalore International Centre, Karnataka.
The eARTh Initiative, launched by CSTEP in 2023, has been instrumental in integrating art into climate action. This initiative offers a unique platform for scientists, artists, conservationists, and citizens to collaborate. It explores how climate art and scientific research can work together to drive positive environmental change and promote sustainability.
This year, the eARTh Event in Bengaluru showcased artwork from the eARTh Climate Fellows, created during their nine-month-long climate fellowship at CSTEP. Arth, CSTEP's coffee-table book on art and artists, was launched during the vent. Young students associated with Slam Out Loud performed at the event, and the audience got the opportunity to participate in a live poetry workshop. Another highlight was the performance by the Vasu Dixit Collective.
