Shrimoyee Bhattacharya works as a Senior Research Scientist and holds a Master's degree in Urban and Rural Planning from IIT Roorkee. She has over 12 years of professional experience as both a practitioner and a researcher in the areas of Urban Planning and Policy Advisory. She has been involved in training and capacity building for urban sector institutions. Her research interests include different aspects of sustainable urban development, especially making cities resilient. Her areas of work include resource efficiency in ecosystem services, strategies for inclusive and equitable access to basic urban services, and GIS-based analyses for policy-making and decision support.
