geographic information system (GIS), with practical experience in various GIS software and tools. The intern will collaborate closely with the hydrogen team to provide spatio-temporal analysis, data visualisation, and decision- making support using GIS technologies.
Responsibilities
• Utilise GIS software (such as ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo) for spatial data analysis, visualisation, and map production.
• Conduct spatial analysis to identify optimal locations for hydrogen infrastructure, based on environmental, regulatory, and economic
factors.
• Use GIS to visualise cluster-based data, heat maps, and other geo-statistical analyses to support research on clean energy projects.
• Implement multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods, such as analytic hierarchy process (AHP), within GIS for location suitability
analysis and decision-making for energy projects.
• Assist in creating detailed spatial reports and presentations on GIS-based analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collect data and process spatial information related to clean energy initiatives, with a focus on hydrogen.
