Join our team as a Project and Engagement Manager and take charge of coordinating impactful research initiatives and driving capacity-building engagement. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with the leadership team (reporting directly to the Executive Director), manage cross-sectoral projects, and interact with the broader research and education community.

Broad Expectations

 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional project management skills. A strong understanding of the research and education ecosystem is essential. The role requires the ability to effectively track, coordinate, and manage review cycles for research projects across the organisation, ensuring timely progress and alignment with institutional goals.

 

Responsibilities

 

Internal Coordination

  • Collaborate with Principal Investigators, Group Heads, and Sector Heads to coordinate technical and project review processes
  • Represent the Executive Director’s office in cross-sectoral initiatives
  • Manage project review cycles for the Committee of Directors

 

External Engagement

  • Work closely with the Executive Director, Sector Heads, and Group Heads to coordinate engagement with external entities on capacity-building initiatives
  • Identify new opportunities for external engagement and partnership in capacity-building efforts

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

 

Experience

  • At least 8 years of professional experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a project management role, preferably within a research environment

 

Skill Set

  • Excellent project management skills
  • Familiarity with the research and education ecosystem
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Ability to manage review cycles for research projects and initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

 

 

Compensation

 

INR 15–20 lakh per annum
