The role will focus on advancing research and implementation pathways in carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS); green hydrogen; renewable energy systems; Power-to-X technologies; circular waste management solutions; and other emerging technologies. The candidate will contribute to interdisciplinary projects involving techno-economic assessment, sustainability assessment, systems modelling, policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and strategy development to support India’s decarbonisation and net-zero transition.

Responsibilities

• Conduct techno-economic, life cycle, and market assessments for CCUS, green hydrogen, renewable energy integration, and waste-to-energy / value pathways.
• Assess policy, regulatory, financing, and infrastructure requirements for scaling emerging low-carbon technologies in India.
