Anasuya Gangopadhyay is a Senior Associate in the Mitigation group of the Climate, Environment and Sustainability sector at CSTEP.

She completed her PhD from Divecha Centre for Climate Change, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru; her MTech in Software Systems (Data Analytics) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani; and her BE in Electrical Engineering from Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur.

Prior to joining CSTEP, she worked as a Research Associate at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS),  as Design Engineer at Conergy Energy Systems (I) Pvt. Ltd, and as Project Engineer (Project Management – Process Automation) at ABB Ltd.

Her areas of interest include data analytics, energy modelling, renewable energy, energy access, sustainability, distributed generation, energy poverty, and energy management and policy.
