We are seeking a Finance Officer to join our finance team. This role will support day-to-day finance and accounting activities and contribute to the efficient functioning of financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Post accounting entries and maintain books of accounts in Tally and Excel.
- Process payroll and manage TDS deductions and filings.
- Prepare donor/project financial reports and budgets.
- Support statutory and internal audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with internal teams for expense documentation and reporting.
- Handle bank-related transactions, including cheques and online/offline transfers.
- Manage bill processing and reconciliation.
- Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Undertake other accounting and finance-related tasks as required.
Qualifications
Master's or Bachelor's degree in commerce or accounting
Skill Set
- Strong knowledge of Tally and MS Excel, along with an understanding of accounting standards, donor reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with not-for-profit accounting practices and related financial processes will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of finance-related statutory guidelines and regulatory requirements.
