Officer-Finance

We are seeking a Finance Officer to join our finance team. This role will support day-to-day finance and accounting activities and contribute to the efficient functioning of financial operations.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Post accounting entries and maintain books of accounts in Tally and Excel.
  • Process payroll and manage TDS deductions and filings.
  • Prepare donor/project financial reports and budgets.
  • Support statutory and internal audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for expense documentation and reporting.
  • Handle bank-related transactions, including cheques and online/offline transfers.
  • Manage bill processing and reconciliation.
  • Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
  • Undertake other accounting and finance-related tasks as required.

 

Qualifications


Master's or Bachelor's degree in commerce or accounting


Skill Set

 

  • Strong knowledge of Tally and MS Excel, along with an understanding of accounting standards, donor reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with not-for-profit accounting practices and related financial processes will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of finance-related statutory guidelines and regulatory requirements.
