Sohana Debbarma is a Senior Associate in the Air Quality Observations team at CSTEP.

She completed her PhD in Climate Science from the Centre for Climate Studies at IIT Bombay. She is a Civil Engineer with a master’s degree in transport planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi.

She previously worked as a Transport and Air Quality Researcher at Clean Air Asia. During her PhD, she interned with the Asian Development Bank in the Sustainable and Climate Change Division.

Her areas of interest include aerosol science and technology, source apportionment studies, air pollution monitoring, emission inventory, and climate and health impact analysis.
