Shruthi Balakrishnan is a Senior Communication Officer in the Communication and Policy Engagement team at CSTEP.
She completed her PhD in Environmental Geochemistry from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE); her MSc in Chemistry from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka; and her BSc in Chemistry, Microbiology, and Zoology from St Aloysius College, Mangalore.
Prior to joining CSTEP, she worked as an Editorial Feedback Specialist at Cactus Communications Private Limited.
Her areas of interest include environmental policy, urban challenges, climate risks, and science communications.
