Shanmitha Raghu is a Senior Associate in the Adaptation and Risk Analysis group at CSTEP.

She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Master of Arts in Econometrics from the University of Madras and her Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy, Design and Management from the Indian School of Public Policy, New Delhi.

Before her current role as a Senior Associate, she worked as a Consultant at CSTEP; as a Research Associate at the India Development Foundation, New Delhi; as a Store Manager – Fair Trade Shop at Last Forest Enterprises Private Limited, Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu; and as a Subject Manager – Water and Sanitation at Keystone Foundation, Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu.

Her areas of interest include development economics, public policy, water, public health, and circular economy.
