Sachin Phad is a Senior Associate in the Adaptation and Risk Analysis group at CSTEP.
He completed his Master of Science (Agriculture) in Agricultural Meteorology and his Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) from the College of Agriculture, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agriculture University, Parbhani, Maharashtra.
Prior to joining CSTEP, he worked as a Subject Matter Specialist (Agrometeorology) at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Nandurbar, Maharashtra, and as a Technical Officer (Agrometeorology) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, under the Department of Agriculture, Government of Maharashtra, for a World-Bank–funded project on climate-resilient agriculture.
His areas of interest include climate change and its impact on agriculture, climate-resilient strategies, and early-warning systems for agriculture.
