Ramya Natarajan

Research Scientist

Ramya Natarajan is a Research Scientist, leading the Mitigation domain within the Climate, Environment and Sustainability sector at CSTEP.

She holds a Master’s in Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, and a BTech in Biotechnology from Anna University, Tamil Nadu.

At CSTEP, she has worked on evaluating methanol’s potential as an alternative fuel for India and on waste-to-energy conversion. She has also worked on analysing the energy implications for a desired quality of life in India.

Prior to joining CSTEP, she worked as a researcher at Indiana University, Bloomington, and Energy Research Institute (NTU), Singapore.
