Kumar Preetam is a Senior Analyst in the Energy Policy and Regulations group at CSTEP.

He completed his post-graduation in Energy Economics and his graduation in Economics from Banaras Hindu University.

Prior to joining CSTEP, he worked as a Senior Economic Analyst at The Celestial Earth, and as an intern at the SDG division of NITI Aayog.

His areas of interest include energy, economics, climate change, GHG accounting, and demand forecasting.
