Shweta Gupta is a Senior Associate in the Sustainability team at CSTEP.

She completed her BA (Hons) in Economics from Kirorimal College, University of Delhi; her MA in Economics from the University of Hyderabad; and her PhD in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. She also holds a BEd degree, with a specialisation in economics.

Prior to joining CSTEP, she worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Data Innovation Centre Team at the National Council of Applied Economic Research, as a Teaching Assistant at the Delhi School of Economics, and as a Teacher of Microeconomics at the National Law University, Odisha.

Her areas of interest include climate change, natural resource economics, development economics, applied microeconomics, and econometrics.
