Dr Pipasa Layak is a Senior Associate in the Renewables group at CSTEP. Prior to joining as a Senior Associate, she worked as a consultant at CSTEP.

She holds a PhD in Geosciences from the Department of Earth Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee. She completed her MSc in Applied Geology from the Department of Earth Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, and her BSc in Geology from North Odisha University.

Her areas of interest include energy studies with special emphasis on rooftop solar projects in India.
