Kopperi Harishankar is a Senior Associate in the Strategic Initiatives team at CSTEP.

He holds a PhD in Chemical Sciences from CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, and a 5-year Integrated MSc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Telangana University.

Prior to joining CSTEP, he worked as a Senior Project Associate at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre For Advanced Scientific Research.

His areas of interest include sustainable process design with a focus on integration of life cycle assessment (LCA) methodologies, and decarbonisation strategies for the hard-to-abate sectors.
