Bhavya A P is a Senior Associate in the Sustainability group within the Climate, Environment and Sustainability sector at CSTEP.

She completed her PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK, Bengaluru, Karnataka; her master’s degree in agricultural economics from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka; and her bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Prior to her role as a Senior Associate, she worked as a Consultant at CSTEP. Before that, she worked as an Agricultural Economist at Rurafin Gram Paathshala Pvt Ltd; as a Project Associate – I at ICAR-NIVEDI Bengaluru; as a Research Associate at the CESP Department, ISEC, Bengaluru; and as a Technical Assistant at MGNREGA, RDPR Department, Karnataka.

Her areas of interest include agriculture and rural development, climate change, water–energy–food nexus, and livelihood security.
