Bhargavi Thiagarajan is a Consultant in the Climate Change Mitigation team at CSTEP.

She completed her integrated BBA LLB from the School of Law, Christ (Deemed to be) University.

Prior to joining CSTEP, she worked as an Intern in the Department of Climate Change, Environmental Management and Policy Research Institute (EMPRI), Bengaluru. Previously, she has worked as an advocate appearing before civil and commercial courts in Bengaluru and the High Court of Karnataka. She has also undertaken research internships with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (Regional office in Bengaluru) and the Environment Support Group, Bengaluru.

Her areas of interest include climate change laws, local governance, and climate finance.
