As we commence our 20th anniversary, here’s unveiling the new logo.

It has been an eventful two decades (well, almost). CSTEP started small, with a handful of employees on 30 June 2005. The vision of our Founder-Chairman, Dr V S Arunachalam, was to set up a think tank that used science and technology to build a secure, sustainable, and inclusive world.
CSTEP started operations from a small room in Dr Arunachalam’s home, which Mrs Meena Arunachalam was generous enough to share with her husband’s colleagues. Since then, it has been quite a journey. Today, CSTEP has a 100+ workforce and offices in Bengaluru and Delhi NCR.
Over the years, CSTEP’s core has remained unchanged and unwavering. Our studies and policy solutions to real-world problems remain rooted in science and technology. We recommend science-based solutions to governments to help inform their policy decisions.

At CSTEP, we follow the ecosystem approach — working with partners and collaborators — to ensure that solutions are implemented at scale. Science, technology, policy, and collaboration are at the heart of CSTEP and the new logo.
