India’s clean energy transition has reached a significant milestone, with over 250 GW of installed renewable energy capacity and the country on track to achieve its 500 GW target by 2030. As renewable capacity continues to grow, the focus is shifting to the systems, policies, infrastructure, and financing needed to support a clean and sustainable power system.
The inaugural CSTEP Clean Energy Conclave, to be held on 5 and 6 October 2026 at The Claridges New Delhi, will bring together policymakers, researchers, industry, regulators, and financing institutions under the theme ‘Transitioning Towards a Clean and Sustainable Power System’. The Conclave will focus on four interconnected areas: transmission grid infrastructure, energy storage integration, regulatory design, and the utility of the future.
Through curated panel discussions, technical presentations, and fireside conversations, the Conclave will examine the key challenges shaping India’s post-renewable energy transition and explore practical, implementable pathways for the power sector. The event aims to build a shared understanding of these challenges, strengthen dialogue among practitioners and policymakers, and develop directions that can inform ongoing research and policy decisions.
