Neha Garg

Consultant

Neha Garg is a Consultant in the Energy Policy and Regulations team at CSTEP.

She completed her master’s degree in geography from Punjabi University, Patiala, and her bachelor’s degree in humanities with economics, English literature, and geography from Govt. Rajindra College, Bathinda. She completed her 1-year course in remote sensing and GIS applications in Marine Sciences from the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), ISRO, Dehradun.

Prior to joining CSTEP, she has worked with the Forest Survey of India, Dehradun; Housing and Urban Development Corporation; Vasudha Foundation, New Delhi; Centre for Environment and Energy Development, Ranchi; and Just Transition Research Centre (JTRC) and Centre for Energy Regulation, IIT Kanpur.

Her areas of interest include tracking and analysing policy and regulatory developments in the energy sector, climate action strategies, and net-zero governance frameworks.
