Responsibilities

Software Developer

We are looking for a motivated fresher to design, develop, and test dynamic web applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Django (Python). The candidate will work closely with the team to create responsive front-end interfaces, integrate backend functionality, and collaborate on UI/UX design.

A basic understanding of SQL and version control (GitHub) is required.

This position offers hands-on experience across the full web development lifecycle and an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

Intern

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented interns to support a large-scale reporting initiative for government buildings in Delhi and Lucknow, using CSTEP’s in-house decision-support tool—the Rooftop Solar Explorer (RTSE).

RTSE is designed to accelerate rooftop solar adoption in India by providing roof-level insights through rooftop mapping, solar potential estimation, techno-economic analysis, and structured reporting. These outputs help governments, utilities, and other stakeholders plan and implement rooftop solar deployment effectively.

Intern (Ecological Survey)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to support ecological surveys as part of an ongoing project on Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) in Bengaluru. This internship provides hands-on experience in biodiversity surveys, ecological sampling, and field data management across a range of diverse urban and peri-urban habitats. The internship offers an opportunity to contribute to an ongoing project on urban ecosystems and climate resilience. Interns will also receive guidance and mentorship from a multidisciplinary research team.
