Dr Vipul Lal Chandani is a Senior Associate in the Air Quality Observations group at CSTEP.
He holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. He completed his MTech in Environmental Engineering and Management from IIT, Kanpur, and his BE in Chemical Engineering from UICET, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Prior to joining CSTEP, he worked as an Assistant Researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Berkeley, U.S., as a Project Associate at the Center for Environmental Science and Engineering, IIT Kanpur, and as a Senior Research Officer at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. He was also a Research Fellow at Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences (GEES), University of Birmingham, U.K.
His areas of interest include air pollution, PM chemical characterisation, source apportionment of PM, and secondary organic aerosol formation.
