Intern

CSTEP is looking for interns to work in the area of energy storage and its grid integration, and power system modelling. The interns will  work closely with the team towards conducting research and capturing data on energy storage and its techno-economics.

 

Responsibilities

• Conduct research related to least-cost resource planning for different states.
• Compile energy market data and analyse market trends, including demand, supply, and price projections.
• Collect, analyse, and tabulate data according to project requirements.
• Report findings through write-ups/MS PowerPoint presentations/MS Excel sheets.
• Conduct literature reviews for grid integration of energy storage.  
• Contribute to research publications by preparing articles, research papers, op-eds, etc.
• Ideate and innovate in terms of expanding knowledge and work-base of the energy and power domain.

 

Qualification

 

A Master’s degree student or a recent graduate in an area related to power systems.

 

Skill Set

• Competence in using software tools such as Python, SQL, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Self-motivated and driven to complete tasks on time.

 

Duration

 

3–6 Months (Immediate joining preferred)

 

Stipend

 

INR 15,000–20,000 per month
