Senior Analyst

 

The Senior Analyst will play a key role in analysing and assessing the environmental sustainability of current and emerging agricultural practices through comprehensive life-cycle analysis (LCA).

 

Responsibilities

• Perform life-cycle assessment of climate smart agricultural (CSA) practices
• Conduct research and analysis on CSA practices towards enhancing water-use efficiency, reducing greenhouse gases, and increasing yield.
• Assist the team on work in other/related areas of agriculture.
• Engage with stakeholders for communication and policy discussions.
• Contribute to producing technical written outputs.

 

Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Agricultural Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.

 

 

Experience

 

Proven experience in conducting LCAs for agricultural systems, using software tools like SimaPro, OpenLCA, GaBi, etc.

 

 

Skill Set

• Proficiency in LCA software and methodologies.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Sound understanding of sustainable agriculture practices and environmental regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
