The Communications Intern (Design) will be a part of the Communication and Policy Engagement team and will be responsible for creating visual communication outputs. The candidate must have a strong understanding of digital and print design, knowledge of various digital channels (including social media), the content formats available within them and how they can be leveraged while designing outputs creatively.
Responsibilities
- Study design briefs and determine requirements.
- Conceptualise visuals based on the design briefs.
- Develop digital illustrations from concepts/sketches.
- Develop infographics and data visualisations for research studies.
- Create layouts for publications/webpages.
- Design other creative outputs (like posters, webpages, social media posts, etc.) as required and amend designs as per feedback.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in graphic/communication/product/industrial design or a related field.
Experience
0-1 year of experience in graphic or communication design.
Skill Set
- Hand and digital illustration skills (essential).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
- Ability to work methodically and follow design process.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good time management skills and ability to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of motion graphic and online creative tools would be an advantage.

INR 15,000 per month
