Intern (Outreach)

The Communication and Policy Engagement team at CSTEP is looking for an intern to work on outreach programmes, content development, event management, social media marketing, and newsletter database transfer.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to plan, organise, and execute events aimed at raising awareness about climate change and its impacts.
• Assist in planning and coordinating the annual eARTh event (and associated programmes), including logistical arrangements, participant engagement, and content development.
• Help in organising talks, seminars, and workshops within CSTEP. This may include, but not be limited to, collating information regarding speakers, setting up and sending out event invitations, and coordinating between the various groups at CSTEP.
• Be involved in the transfer of our newsletter/subscriber database between internal platforms.

 

Qualifications

 

Master’s degree, preferably in Media and Communications.

 

 

Experience

 

2–12 months of experience working on similar assignments is desirable, but freshers can also apply.

 

Skill Set

• Keen interest in and knowledge of climate change policies and impact.
• Sound knowledge of email marketing and outreach database management.
• Should be self-motivated and a team player.

 

Compensation

 

INR 15,000 per month
