You will conduct research and analyse the role of AI in addressing societal needs, its economic implications, and impact on workforce, as well as study the ethical and social considerations and policies/regulations surrounding AI. You will be working in the AI/ML group of the Digital Transformation domain, which works on combining the power of data, AI/ML, and digital technologies to enable clean energy transition, clean air, and climate action for a secure and sustainable society. As such, you will have the opportunity to interact with experts in the field and contribute to shaping the impact of AI on society.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on the role of AI and its impact on the economy and society.
- Analyse how AI can address societal needs and affect jobs, and assess the concerns related to privacy, AI bias, and ethics.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders including experts, researchers, analysts, industry leaders, and policy-makers to gather diverse perspectives and insights.
- Help organise meaningful discussions with stakeholders in the AI ecosystem and prepare summaries.
- Produce high-quality articles and policy briefs with actionable insights and evidence-based recommendations for decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with a keen interest in emerging technologies (such as AI) and their impact on society.
Skill Set

- Good written and verbal communication skills.
