Joint Statement from Bangalore Climate Change Initiative – Karnataka and Partners on the Paris Climate Agreement: Implications for India and Karnataka, December 15, 2015
The International Energy Agency (IEA) has published a Special Report on future developments in India as a part of World Energy Outlook 2015. IEA showcased this at an event in Bengaluru on Monday, November 30, 2015. The event was jointly organised by Center for Study of Science, Technology and Policy (CSTEP) and International Energy Agency (IEA).
CSTEP, in association with GGGI, BCCI-K and KREDL are jointly organising a Roundtable Workshop on Waste Heat Recovery for Power Generation in Karnataka.
NITI Aayog and CSTEP jointly organised a Stakeholder Consultation Workshop on Renewable Energy to solicit inputs from stakeholders for a policy framework that will help the government formulate a National Energy Policy.
CSTEP supports India’s announcement of its Intended Nationally Determined Contribution (INDC) in response to COP decisions 1/CP.19 and 1/CP.20 for the period 2021 to 2030. This is very much in line with CSTEP’s recent study on a quality of life pathway for India’s development.
