Our mission is to contribute science and technology based solutions for India's developmental and policy problems, which has helped us formalise many attributes in energy access, renewable energy, urban transport and public hygiene. Many thanks to all our colleagues and funders who share our vision of building an outstanding Think Tank; and this continues to be our all-consuming vision.

CSTEP is at a crucial juncture; we have reached a critical mass of researchers and funding, and we continue to build a youthful and vibrant organisation. We have also made several important policy contributions. We are happy with our progress, but not satisfied. I believe that with the calibre of CSTEP's human resources, we can achieve great heights. Our focus for the coming year will be to nurture the talent so that they blossom as outstanding thought leaders and policy innovators.
